quirks and talents and passions
your flaws and mistakes
your blue eyes and the dimples
that made their way across your cheeks
whenever i said your name.
i loved every atom that comprised your being
but you're not that person anymore.
your eyes aren't the same shade of blue
and your dimples no longer take me by surprise.
i'm not even sure you're still made up
of those very same atoms.
